Some activities that can be easily arranged are:-
• Lunch at Koh Jum, or Koh Phi Phi Don;
• Climbing the mountain – at 395 metres above sea level it has stunning views of Krabi province (bring climbing shoes);
• Kayaking or Fishing;
• Boat trips around the island.
Boat hires attract a cost and a service charge may apply if a guide accompanies you on an activity.
The beach has a few small resorts with bungalows (where extra friends can stay) and where meals can be purchased during high season.
The beach also has some quiet restaurants where you can relax eat & drink, and watch the sunset. These are on the beach – not far from the house.
The beaches facing the sea on Koh Pu have some rocks, so at low tide they are not the best for swimming, but “Coconut Beach”, the next beach around the corner has deep water swimming at all times. It is an easy walk from the house through rubber trees to this other private sandy beach.
But the house has a private swimming pool, so you can swim any time, regardless of the low tide.
