Look Inside Piman Pu Villa, Koh Jum
Piman Pu Villa is a beachfront, Koh Jum Villa with a pool, for rent on Koh Jum, Krabi, Thailand.
Piman Pu means “paradise for crabs” – don’t worry the crabs won’t hurt you!
This is a private Thai-style villa for rent – forget staying in condos or hotels – get back to nature, but stay on the beach, in private and in comfort. This traditional ecotourism Thai-style beach villa has comfortable sleeping facilities and is equipped with a modern kitchen and bathrooms.
The house is elevated, and equipped with fans, and with the sea breezes air-conditioning is not necessary. The location is beautiful, majestic and peaceful. The villa is set in its own tropical garden setting with direct access to near private Luboh beach on unspoilt Koh Pu. From the villa are also stunning views to Koh Lanta and to the mountain which dominates Koh Pu at 395 metres.
Koh Pu is accessed by a beautiful boat crossing. At high tide the boat can come right to the front of the house. Luboh Beach (Ao Luboh) has bungalow style resort accommodation, which is friendly and inexpensive, but ‘Piman Pu’ is the only private villa for rent with its own pool and garden currently on Koh Pu’s Luboh Beach.

The island has two names for the two villages at the northern and southern ends.
“Piman Pu” is at the northern end – so your destination is Koh Pu, and not Koh Jum.
The best way is to fly to Krabi – Air Asia, NokAir, Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways and other carriers fly from airports in Bangkok.
If you need to connect to the international terminal in Bangkok, you should consider Thai Airways or Bangkok Airways.
Air Asia also flies from Kuala Lumpur (either way – about an hour and 10 minutes flying time).
Tiger Airways flies from Singapore.
Laem Kruat is the closest pier to Koh Pu. (a beautiful crossing of about 25 minutes to the village, or 35 minutes to the villa).
The price is THB 50 per head, but sometimes white faces are charged more.
The boat times for the public boat are as follows:-
From Laem Kruat to Koh Pu
From Koh Pu to Laem Kruat
Normally, three-wheeler (Sam Lor) taxis meet the public boat at Koh Pu pier and can bring you to the villa – ask to be brought to “Ao Lubo – Piman Pu”.
And generally a truck which takes passengers (Song Teaw) will meet the public boat at Laem Kruat and drop you at the airport.
It is also possible to take the fast public ferry (in high season only) from Krabi to Koh Lanta and ask to be dropped at Koh Pu.
Please let us know in advance if you take the fast ferry, so we can arrange for a longtail to meet the ferry in the bay.
(Koh Pu is about an hour by fast ferry from Krabi)
Otherwise, you can fly to Phuket – a public air conditioned bus will take you to Krabi – about 3.0 hours.
We can collect you from closest point – Krabi airport, Laem Kruat pier, or even Koh Phi Phi.
(additional taxi, long-tail and/or speed boat charges apply).
